Modernize and Improve Accessibility with a Tub-to-Shower Conversion
If you have a bathtub no one uses, a tub-to-shower conversion is often a practical upgrade. Luxury Bath of Central Florida can remove your bathtub, whether it’s a standalone unit or bathtub-shower combo, and install a modern walk-in shower in its place.
Low- and no-threshold entry makes it easier for people using mobility aids to access the shower. If accessibility is your primary reason for a conversion, we can outfit your new shower with accessories like grab bars, built-in seating, conveniently placed water controls and shelves, and non-slip flooring.
Other Accessible Bathing Options for Tampa Homeowners
If you're focused on aging in place or meeting current mobility needs, a walk-in shower isn’t your only option. We also install walk-in tubs, which reduce the risk of tripping because you enter through a watertight door rather than stepping over a high wall. They also have built-in accessibility features.
How Shower-to-Tub Conversions Increase Versatility
Despite the benefits of standalone showers, they aren’t the right fit for every situation. Bathtub-shower combos offer greater versatility in shared or compact bathrooms, so whether you always intended to do it or if your needs have changed, a shower-to-tub conversion is often a practical way to make your bathroom work better.
We make the process easy by assessing your current space and configuring a bathtub that fits the plumbing and dimensions you already have. If you've been missing a bathtub, we can get you one faster than you may expect, with many installations taking only one day.
Other Bathroom Remodeling Services Available in Tampa
Our bathroom remodeling services go beyond conversions. We perform complete overhauls, including acrylic or tile bathtub and shower replacements. Because we’re licensed as both a general contractor and plumber, we can keep most work in-house with our own employee installers to ensure efficient scheduling and consistent quality.

Outstanding Reviews
Our Luxury bathroom is beautiful! Logan, our sales representative, explained many options and gave us several ideas. Our installer, Trevor, is an extraordinary individual, very capable, diligent and motivated! The Company worked with us regarding our scheduling issues and completely accommodated us in every way. Our master bathroom was completely remodeled in a timely fashion. It certainly matches the company’s title— it is a Luxury bath!
We had our tub enclosure replaced with a shower enclosure and we couldn't be more satisfied!. Gabriel and Sergio were amazing! They did a fantastic job and their work ethic was top notch. If we decide to redo the master bathroom, we are going to specifically ask for Gabriel and Sergio. You won't find a more hard working, experienced team than these two gentlemen!
I have used 100's of contractors over my lifetime so I am always looking to be disappointed. I was more than pleased to have total satisfaction with Luxury bath. They did what they said they would so and did it professionally. Special kudos to the installers Gabriel and Sergio who were very professional and kept us apprised of the work they were doing. I would definitely recommend Luxury Bath for a remodel. We had a bath transformed into a beautiful shower.
